Six Flags Great Adventure - 7/02/07

Just wanted to make a quick report of my second ever trip to SFGA. I was VERY impressed with how much better the park seemed to be this year compared to my visit last year. Every ride opened with the park (except for Chiller which was closed for the day). Kingda Ka was using both sides to load and had 3 trains running, but it seemed much rougher this year than it did last year. El Toro had both trains running as well, and I got 7 rides this time and there's still no doubt to me that a night ride on El Toro beats any other ride anywhere! Nitro also seemed to be pretty rough for a B&M, but it was still a great ride as well. I didn't bother with Batman or Superman this year since both are at my local Six Flags over Georgia.

They were also selecting random people in line to enter the park for a survey and my group happened to be selected. They asked many questions regarding how important family oriented rides were, if I liked family or thrill rides more, and if my main reason for the trip was family or thrill rides.

The only 2 problems I had was that I hated the way they kept my ID for the Flash Pass, forcing me to go back there and trade ID for Flash Pass every time I wanted a beer. Also, I used the automated Credit Card line for parking, and the thing broke and my card got stuck in and it took about 10 minutes for them to find someone who could get it out. They ended up giving me free preferred parking for it anyway, so that actually ended up as a positive!

I took a couple neat pics, one of KK from the top of the parachute ride, and another cool reflection of the famous KK/ET lake shot.

Great pictures! I love the last picture of the reflection(did you flip the picture?). Sounds like you got a lot of rides in and like you had fun.
