SFGadv 7/10/07

So me and my friend went today but my friend works till 4 so we didn't end up getting to the park till about 6:30pm. We went straight to Kingda Ka which was running 3 trains with I think blueberry on the transfer track. It was about a 20 minute wait, second row, awesome ride. Next we went to El Toro which had no line. We walked onto the last row for an awesome ride, it was about 7pm and it was hauling ass. Then over to Medusa for a one train wait for the second row. Nice boring Medusa ride. Then the walk over to Nitro, a few trains wait for somewhere around the middle of the train (only two trains running) for a good ride. Then to Superman for what could have been a walk on but they took one of the trains off while we were waiting. Then we were going to finish the night with Kingda Ka but its line was by the lockers so we just walked on to the last row of El Toro for my best ride ever on El Toro.

time in park: less than 3 hours
El Toro- 2x
Kingda Ka- 1x
Medusa- 1x
Nitro- 1x
S:UF- 1x

Sounds like a pretty decent amount of rides for such a short time. I definetly gotta visit SFGadv sometime.

Sounds like you had a great time at the park! I'm still awaiting my rides on Kingda Ka and El Toro, maybe the next time I go.

When is Great Adventure that empty? I went in April and May and it was still a lot more crowded than that on weekdays. I gotta go back sometime soon I guess..

My friend was there on Monday and he said it was pretty empty that day as well. I just pray it is empty on the 26th of October! I just thought about something. When is the best day to go on a Monday Tuesday in late October? BG will be the other day what do you think?

This year Great Adventure started getting smart in May with really limiting the hours to just the school class trip visits. They did not really have those extra hours where someone off work like me could have great coaster marathon hours.
