animal kingdom question

Last year, I went park hopping at Disney and they were doing construction between Dinoland and Asia. There was this huge creme-colored building. They had construction walls right by the path so I couldn't see what it was. All the maps I can find online don't have it labeled. Is anyone familiar enough with the park to identify it?

If you're looking at the map, at the far right side just below Expedition Everest there is a T-Shaped building with a tent in front of it.

I'm planning on going again this summer, and I want to be as familiar with the parks to be as effecient as possible.

What you saw was the construction on the new Yak and Yeti Restaurant. It won't be open by the time you visit as it isn't likely to open until October. I can't think of anything else that could've been but maybe someone else will correct me.

It's not going to be open anytime soon. I walked by it this morning and construction has been very slow in the last month. It wont be open as Phil said until Oct ot even later. Their goal is to have it open by Thanksgiving/Christmas.

It's a rather funny name for a high end restruant.

Sadly yes. It's always seems to take Disney a while to build everything but thats cause they want everything just right and they do put alot of themeing into it. Not to mention it's a very large Restruant.

Either with themeing it will be 2 stories tall or it's going to be a 2 level restruant.
