Tell me about La Ronde

I'm going to La Ronde next week, and want to know what the crowds are like. Is it possible to ride every coaster in one day?

I went on Father's Day 2006. Of course I don't use any kind of line cutting device. With my US SF Season Pass they had me go into the guest relations office where they recorded the Season Pass info for a few minutes - annoying doesn't it sound? It's on the left side of the entrance plaza. There was one train operation on most coasters though it was a Sunday. I was able from 11-6 get in every coaster except the Boomerang and the corkscrew coaster that are next to each other because they were closed. Don't forget the Dragon indoor coaster on the Northwest side of the park next to Goliath. The water slide pieces might still be there next to the coaster. Inside the effects are better than Disaster Transport, that's for sure. Le Cobra is not the exact Shockwave we had at SFGADV but it's a clone of the standup. Enjoy it though there is not and should be a corkscrew in it. It might be weird to ride Le Vampire, the mirrored version of the ride we know so well: BTR. It delivers the familiar thrills with one less row on the train and yet in the mirrored fashion. You'll see how Goliath is NITRO Jr. with a little bit of your AC mixed in there at the end. I hate the pointless little hump going into the brake run. I hope that would not turn into a rough spot in the future. Hopefully the trims midcourse are hardly on.

It's very possible to ride all coasters in a day.
Other than coasters though, make sure to take a ride on the monorail as it gives some great photo ops of the rides. If you like Nintendo and want to take a break, check out the Megadome near Vampire, you are able to go in and play on a bunch of different Nintendo systems for about 15-20min in the AC.
As for food, be sure to try a poutine (regular are the best ones) and/or a beaver tail (it's not what it sounds like).

Beaver tail, aww shucks. I spent all my Canadian coin I collected in the US on the vending machines. I missed the poutine before.

Check to see if the park is open the day you go...
