Days 2-4 Worlds of Fun and misc. museums

Days 2-4, reminder all pictures will be posted following the trip.

Worlds of Fun, Thursday – rides in no particular order
Very nice park with friendly employees and atmosphere. Enjoyed the patriotic music all day. Only complaints, the layout is slightly confusing and the waterpark isn’t included with admission.

Boomerang – walkon 6/10 not as back breaking as Mind Eraser at Geauga Lake, it actually had a line at times.

Mamba – Steel out and back 3 train wait running one train early 8/10 Magnum’s sister is a nice ride with good airtime, only differences are no tunnels or lake, and a 360 helix at the mid point.

Timberwolf – woody 2 train wait, only ride ops goofing around in park 4/10 nice air time, but really rough with many lateral g’s.

Thunderhawk – top spin 7/10 First ride only moved 5 inches, broke down with me on it and restraints closed. Nice program and we didn’t get wet.

Detonator – tower 8/10 no extra “clear” or compressed air noise gives you a surprise launch.

Patriot – invert 10/10 Very very smooth, positive g’s not as painful as Raptor.

Spinning Dragons – 9/10 good mix of coaster and spinning, not too much of either.

Finnish Fling – spinning ride where the floor drops from under your feet 9/10 a nice rare ride. This one has the floor come most of the way back up before the ride slows, unlike the one at the Columbus Center of Science and Industry, it gives you a major wedgie.

Le Taxitour – Old car ride 7/10 felt like a longer ride than most, but the cars could have more decorations (license plates) and some landscaping to look at.

Le Carrousel – 6/10 A smaller carousel, the music was not working properly.

Zulu – enterprise 7/10 found it odd that the ride op wouldn’t let me ride with my legs straight out, is this normal?

Worlds of Fun Railroad – 8/10 a one stop railroad with a mini tour of the park. The staff here was very friendly, the guy here was one of the few people who had heard of Cedar Point and actually been there. The railroad itself has plenty of green space that needs used for something.

The following two days (Friday and Saturday) were spent with friends in Guthrie Oklahoma, where we visited the National 4 String Banjo museum, the Drug Store Museum, and their Depot which has several model railroad layouts. Our motel was on the same road as Frontier City, but between our friends schedule and it no longer being a six flags park, we decided not to stop.
