Pictures of Six Flags Fiesta Texas

This was more than a month ago, but I went to the my two home parks in late June on a Tuesday and took my camera with me to take pictures to show on here.

As always, I did a double header going to Fiesta Texas in the late morning/early afternoon and Sea World in the late afternoon/early evening. But because my batteries ran out on me before I headed to Sea World, I wasn't able to take pictures there. But in an earlier visit to Sea World, I did take pictures of the Journey To Atlantis ride you can find here.

Leading off the e-tour, we start with our first batch of pics leading up to the park:

Overhead sign indicating to exit to get to the park.

Parking checkpoint.

A distant look at the park and skyline from the parking lot.

This is the park entrance area.

A shot of the tallest ride at the park from the parking lot.

Los Festivales

Upon entering the park, we come through the Los Festivales section of the park, where Boomerang is located.

A shot of Los Festivales in the above pic.

Now we move on to the Crackaxle Canyon section of the park....

Crackaxle Canyon (part one)

Here is my first ride of the day shown immediately below:

This is a shot looking straight ahead from a point on the queue line.

Looking from the ride's exit queue, you can see the station for Roadrunner Express:

The same spot on the exit looking left, you can get a clear look at the neighboring Ratter ride (once the tallest and fastest wooden coaster in the world upon opening in 1992). Speaking of which....

A look at the first hill of the Rattler.

A general look at Crackaxle Canyon. The season pass processing center is to the left.

The Whistle Stop train station just ahead.

The Wagon Wheel

A closer look at the Rattler's first hill.

Crackaxle Canyon (part two)

This is the largest section of the park, so there were a lot of pictures to take.

Looking ahead at the Whistle Stop train station.

Gully Washers -- The park's river rapids ride.

A view of more waterfalls. This is where the Lone Star Spectacular parkwide laser/pyro show is held every night.

The next two pics below is your's truly standing in front of the falls:

And yes, I was wearing a Sea World t-shirt, where I went to for the second-half of my day.

And that's that for Crackaxle Canyon. Moving on to the next section of the park.

Spassburg

The Spassburg section represents the influence of German culture across central Texas, so the park decided to have a German-theme section of the park.

The park's kiddie coaster.

The next few pics below is of Bugs's White Water Rapids log flume ride:

A shot of the water ride's station. TV monitors scattered all along the queue show an episode of Bugs Bunny, called "Knighty Knight Bugs" and the ride is theme to that episodes as the flume takes riders on a quest to find the Singing Sword and do battle against Yosemite Sam and his fire-breathing dragon.

Now on to the Rockville section of the park.

Rockville

The Rockville section has a similar theme of the USA sections found at other Six Flags parks. It is themed to celebrate our proud nation.

An sign indicating you're in the Rockville section.

A view of the Rockville midway.

A look at the Wii station for guests to check out and experience.

Rockville is also home to Scream and Poltergeist:

Next on to the Fiesta Bay Boardwalk

We're now in the Fiesta Bay Boardwalk section of the park.

Entrance sign for the boardwalk section.

A look at the boardwalk section.

Fiesta Bay Boardwalk is home to the new Tony Hawk's Big Spin ride.

And there you have -- Fiesta Bay Boardwalk.

Wow, the theming at Fiesta Texas looks pretty good. The boardwalk section is done really well. I like the "popeye looking" theme on the ship.

Superman Krypton Coaster

And now the moment you've probably been waiting for....the flagship coaster of the park.

Super Hero's Grill located right next to the ride's entrance.

A shot of the lift hill from the exit queue.

A shot of the 168-ft. first drop.

The first two elements of the coaster, including a statue of Superman standing on top of the vertical loop.

The zero-G turbo heartline spin element.

Looking at the ride's cobra roll.

A shot of the pair of corkscrews.

White Water Bay

And last but certainly not least, the water park section of the park called White Water Bay.

And that concludes the e-tour of Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Hope you all liked it and hope you get a chance to experience this unique park.

^ To those that have commented so far, thank you for offering your thoughts. I was hoping to get the e-tour completed before anyone could comment but my connection was cut off for a while before I could continue. Now that I'm done, I hope to hear more feedback from more of you.

Thank you all for taking this time to check out my home park!

I really loved the pictures of Superman Krypton Coaster. IMO, it has one of the coolest drops on any coaster. Again, nice pictures!
