We want to see your home park!

Jimmy started this fantastic idea and I think we, the site, should expand on it.

I know I myself, would love to see the parks across the US and all over the world in their glory. We don't get many Photo Trip Reports on the boards, but adding the rich history of any park is a great bonus!

So, start posting some pics of your home park! Tell us about the history, the rides, everything!

The more the merrier! Besides, it does end up helping people plan for their future trips! Especially if you can see what a park offers before hand.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask Jimmy or myself.

Here are some already finished virtual tours! Kennywood, Walibi World, Adventureland and The Park at Mall of America.

I want to add to what she said above. The key is that YOU are like a guide giving us a virtual tour of your home park.

Feel free to use my tour as a guide to help you. Not only post pictures but also tell us about them. Mine may not be as complete as what some of you might put together, but you get the general idea when you see it.

http://www.thrillnetwork.com/boards/...ad.php?t=42527

And if possible, we'd like you to divide your tour into the different theme sections grouping your photos from a particular section. And also if applicable, show us pictures of the park's entry signs and plazas.

Sounds like a really fantastic idea. I have a bunch of pictures from Adventureland that you're welcome to. I'll get to work.

EDIT: Actually, does anyone mind if I do Worlds of Fun as well? Technically, it's not my home park, but I know it better than Adventureland.

I'd do Kennywood like Katie, but I don't have any pictures of Kennywood, oh well, maybe I'll SFGAdv since I'm going there on Friday.

That's another thing....more than one of you can team up can work on your project together. We encourage that and it probably would make the presentation even better than if only one of you worked on it.

Upload any of your pics to a photobucket or one of those sites (they are free) and just paste the IMG code into the replies.

Cool

if you want i know somebody thru the internet who has atleast 10 pictures of every park in the USA just email him at joel@coastergallery.com.

And if i were you i myself would check out coastergallery.com its really cool you don't have to go searching for hours for the pics of the parks you want they're all in plain site. Its definently the best place to go pics of parks

Not the point of this topic. We want our members to show us around the park in their point of view. Not to go to another site to find it. We all know of plenty of sites that do this. This is for TN to get a more indepth look at a park via the rides, food, atmosphere.

Anyone want to help me with Worlds of Fun? I have more than enough pictures alone, but I know there are others who'd probably like to do it (I'm looking at DHollon).

One of things I'd like to see on the tours is signs and stations. When you give us a tour, I like you all to virtually take us to the park. What are we going to see as we approach the park? What are we going to see as we enter the park? What are we going to see as we navigate the park?

Just as I shot the entry signs for the rides as well as a couple of the rides' stations and even signs along the midway, I'd like to see more of those. Rides are one part, but showing us extras like signs, notable restaurants and shops, and even views from the midways and trains, really make for an overall great tour.

As a personal request to any of you out west, I would love for someone to take me on a virtual tour of Six Flags Magic Mountain. Any volunteers?

I got Camden Park here in West Virginia!

Sounds like a great idea and I would be happy to contribute since I have plenty of photos!

So is there going to a seperate "Virtual Tour of My Park" thread or? I think that might help seperate it from typical trip reports.

Yeah you can start your own thread on your tour. If you have pictures of signs and midways in your park, I'd love to see those as well. Hope you give us a great tour!

What I meant was is there going to be a seperate forum as in "Virtual Park Tours" that will only include these things and not your typical trip reports?

Sweet. Thanks, guys.

I have a ton of signage. Some of it hilarious. This will be fun, especially since not many people have visited Camden Park.

I will do Idlewild.

I have some pictures of the park, but I'm going to wait until the season starts back up and get some better ones.

I have a ton of Carowinds, Scarowinds & Winterfest photos. I'll have to go dig them up and put them on a CD.

If any of you can....don't just limit your photos to rides, but I also like to see photos of landmarks, games, shops, midways, and some of the more popular dining/food services as well.

The whole idea is that you are virtually taking us to your park and giving us a grand tour from your own point of view. So if you see anything of interest in the park (not just rides), show us!
