| PPP weekend. The trip of a lifetime. Long!!! So the weekend of a lifetime is over. We are for the most part rested up and missing all of those funny, amazing and yet weird times our group seems to have. Our trips seem to get crazier and crazier each time. This trip happen to involve chickens and toys. For those of you who don't know what I am talking about, don't feel bad. It got pretty explicit over the weekend. I will try like all heck to keep this trip report PG-13. Peeps involved: Bill Joe Jeff Katie (yeah thats me) Tina's Car: Tina Bruce Bob Things got started at my house on Thursday because everyone was so anxious to get their vacations started. Tina arrived a little after 12 on Thursday afternoon. We hung out, watched a flick and was talking about everything. Jeff arrived a little before 7pm and the chaos started. We started launching rubber chickens, playing chicken baseball and other weird but yet funny things. Tina left around 9pm to hang out with Bruce and Bob. Jeff and I watched some TV and a flick and ended up watching Jim Gaffigan stand-up special. All I can say is HOT POCKET! Bill and Joe had to close at their jobs and didn't end up getting here until a little after 1am. Everyone finally had to settle down, because my boss thought it was hysterical for me to work Friday morning before my vacation started. I got off work at 2pm and had to get back to the house to get things done before everyone came over for a quick bite of pizza and heading over to Kennywood. Phantom Fright Nights was supposed to be dead. It was far from it, but not unbearable by any means. We practically walked on Jack Rabbit and Racer. Great rides to start off the night. We walked over to the Thunderbolt and got a great ride on it as well. Mooshing galore. Then we had to head over to Phantom's Revenge because it was close to pitch black if not so. We ended up waiting over 35 minutes with a one train operation on PR. They added the second train about 6 trains before we got on. The line was then cooking and booking. We got off PR and headed over to Exterminator. The line wasn't even 30 minutes long, which is a great thing!! Tina and her crew were about 15 people behind us. We were continually were yelling Chicken Killer!! Everyone was getting into it. It was the funniest thing ever. She will never live down the fact she ran over a chicken with her car in West Virginia. Our ride spun so hard in the pitch black we were all practically drunk getting off the ride. It was so much fun. Better then any ride I had on this in the past. Even better then car 5. Car 5 is amazing. Next up was SwingShot. Both sides were running at full capacity and running a decent cycle. Joe LOVED SwingShot. It was so great! We then headed to Cosmic Chaos and waited about 3-4 cycles before getting on what I call a major skate-board half pipe. :-D Still running a great cycle. Nothing has been shortened either. We decided to go and eat some food because we were starving at this point. Patch Fries were totally delicious. We got in line for Noah's Ark and the line wasn't long at all! We got through. I was actually disappointed this year then year's past with the Ark. Usually, its the best haunt in the park due to it being dark and lots of places to hide. Oh well. We still had fun. We also hit up The Pirate, Volcano which scared the living crap out of me., and a few other flats. We left the park around midnight and headed back to my place to crash. We had to get up awful early the next morning and make the journey to Knoebel's. The alarm went off awful early in the morning. We had to pack the car and head out. We stopped for gas, food and ice at Get N Go. Good stuff! We got on 376/22-30 and made the 4 hour drive out there, quite amusing to say the least. The cameras were out full force with the "toy" and rubber chicken. We made it to our hotel room at about 1:45pm and unloaded the car into the crappy hotel room. You ask for non-smoking they give you smoking. YUCK. We couldn't hook up the Wii because they only own TVs from the 1980's. We finally got on the road to Knoebel's which is just about 15 minutes from the hotel. Dressed in our GL shirts we were prepared for just about anything. The crowds were pretty heavy at Knoebels. I think the final total came in at about 1800+ people. Flying Turns didn't open, however it did test run. We were allowed into the station to see the train (which only had one and a half cars on it out of the 5 which hold 10 people per train). Phoenix and Twister were running at top notch speeds and smoothness this year. I was greatly surprised. Twister had gotten some serious retracking done throughout the operating season and it was as smooth as glass! The lines for Twister were never more then 2-3 train wait all night. We finally ran into Airbear, Colleen and Beastmaster during ERT. Glad to see you guys again and to meet you Mike for the first time. Glad you could join us for a ride on the Skooters before you had to head off for the evening. Rides we hit: Phoenix 3 times Twister 2 times Flyers 5 times at least (gotta love teaching flyer school) (NO SNAP NAZI!! WOOT!) Haunted Mansion just once Haunted Cars (just once) the lines get incredibly long) Sky Ride (yeah im not doing that ride EVER again) High Speed Thrill Coaster (1 time during ERT) Skooters (1 time during ERT) At about 9:45pm we decided to call it quits for the night. We were all tired and wanted to get back and have a few drinks in the hotel room. We were all messing around with Tina in her chicken costume, which was funny as hell by the way. We had a great time as always. Went to bed around midnight. We didn't have to get up until 9am, so we were good to sleep a bit. We got up a little earlier then 9 which kinda sucked and had to get moving towards Lakemont. We packed up the car, again, and headed out...AFTER we decided to smack Tina up with a few "toys" and throwing pop bombs at her for stealing Chokie. We finally got to Lakemont at around 12:30 after we stopped at DQ for some lunch which consisted of chicken products. We met up with Billy and headed for Little Leaper. The boys (Jeff, Joe and Billy) got on Little Leaper. Last time I rode that coaster, my ass got wet in the back seat for some really weird reason and I knew my back couldn't handle the coaster. We then headed for Leap the Dips for Jeff's 60th coaster. Bill and I got in the front seat and we were allowed to photograph and do on-ride video of the coaster. We got a great ride. This coaster feels like it's going to fall apart at any second, LOL. We then headed over to Skyliner, because it is just so awesome. We got a ride in the back seat and was literally standing due to the airtime off the first hill. The back seat was a little rough, but we got through it. Bill and I got off the train and let Jeff and Joe keep riding because they loved it so much. Joe was so entranced by Skyliner that he rode about 10 times in a row without getting off the ride. We headed over for the lunch and door prizes in the casino. The event had about 150 people and we had a great time at lunch. Most of us had already eaten, but we sat down in the cool for awhile anyway. It was majorly hot outside and we needed the break. Most of us won a door prize, Jeff didn't. He sucks. We got back outside and the boys needed to ride Toboggan to get their final credit whoring count up. I can't stand Toboggans, so I didn't ride, neither did Bill. Little caged cars and hills just don't do it for me. No thanks! We then got up and wanted to do the train real quick before we left. It was quite interesting to say the least. LOL. We were so tired at this point and with a 2 hour drive home we wanted to get on the road. We stopped at a SUPER Sheetz. Which was the coolest thing EVER! They have a drive through, woot! We got a little bit of food to tide us over and got back on 99/220. Somehow we almost made it to Maryland, without paying any attention. We got back on track and made it home just before 8:30pm. The car ride back from Lakemont consisted of making the song "Peaches" From the Presidents of the United States into "Chickens". Don't ask. It was funny as hell though.

| We got back home, set the Wii back up and did some Wii Sports and Mario Party 8. What fun! We finally decided to crash, because I had to work Monday morning. It was not even remotely funny that I had to work. The day progressed easily and I got home and made dinner for the boys and they had to leave around 6:30pm. I was totally bummed they had to leave, because the weekend was a complete success and the best I have ever taken. 3 parks, 3 days. Chickens, "toys", MOMMMYYYY Jokes and trying to get people to spit soda was quite interesting. Thanks for the memories guys, it was the best ever! Here is a link to the pics I have taken. There are a few folders to choose from. I can't wait to do this trip again next year. It's going to be even better when the Turns is finally open!
