SFGAm June 8, 2008. First rides of the year. (Dark Knight-short trip and report)

I hadn't gotten the chance to go until just yesterday. So needless to say, I was excited and looking forward to it. We left shortly after I got home work in the morning. We got there just after it stopped raining so the park was fairly empty. I got the parking pass and we rode Whizzer first.

We weren't there long so we only went on a few things. We rode after Whizzer the following rides; Demon, then went around and back to the front and tried out The Dark Knight for the first time. The theming was ok but nothing special. The ride was generic and not much fun. I'd give it a 4/10.

We last rode Raging Bull which is always awesome. I noticed they removed the test seats from Superman and Raging Bull, maybe other rides. Why? I saw this cause a problem for at least two people on RB that could've avoided it if there had been the test seat available to them. It seemed silly to remove it when it was already there.

So that was my short but fun day. Hopefully it's not months until the next time I go.

Well they're two different types of ride experiences, so I dont think you can really judge one over the other. I'm so sick of spinning mouses as I've been on so many different ones, of the same style!!

I don't know, I don't think so. Dark Knight was uncomfortable during turns and a big part of a wild mouse coaster is the turns, feeling and looking like you would fall off. In the dark, you lose that a little bit. The theming on through ride itself wasn't any spectacular and didn't really impress me at all. When the ride was over, I didn't feel any level of excitement. I just wanted to head to the next ride.

I'll probably ride again but often, likely only when I'm with friends who haven't gone it yet.
