| | | Valleyfair Photo TR VALLEYFAIR - June 21
Derrijk and I decided to take a trip up I-35 to check out the parks in the Twin Cities. Since Derrijk had never been to Valleyfair before, it was fun to see things through his perspective. Valleyfair is a great little park, that seems to be missing one or two more major thrill rides. Renegade was the reason we came to the park though, so let's stop jabbing away and get to the PTR! | | | Well you will not like Coaster Craze this year. We do not have as much ERT as we had a few years back. Anyways. if you show up don't be a stranger and not say hello. Would be nice to meet another fellow TN member! |

| | | *looks at Coaster Craze schedule*
It appears that the "important" rides are on ERT (Renegade and Wild Thing)
Besides after lunch I'll head over to NU and get my ride on there until night ERT on Renegade.
Since you are a local -- how long does it take to get to the Dells from the Twin Cities?

| | | Please tell cause I'm interested in Dells. My postponed Missou trip will probably yield this upper Northern midwest bounty.
Funny about the jailbait shot.

| | | about 4-5 hours or so. I wouldn't even bother going there, though. Mt. Olympus has just gone really downhill since it changed from big cheif's cart and coasters... The employes were almost non-existant, the ones I talked to were completely stupid, and everyone was moving like they were in slow motion after a big all-night party. This was on a Saturday! Don't forget that all of their coasters only have ONE TRAIN!!! How can you have a large scale coaster with only one train? RBP is 30 seconds long and has 4 cars... corkscrew has 2 trains despite being so incredibly short...
"Maintanence doesn't want to run two trains"
You may as well keep on driving another 2 or 3 hours to go to SFGAm. Even that had better service than Mt.O. Out of all of the 12 parks (14 if you count VF and NU), they had the absolute worst!

| | | Well I also wanted to ride Avalanche at Timbers -- we were also going to make a stop at Little Amerricka. It's more of a "we need the credits still" trip then anything else.
We've already been to SFGAm this year and will be back in early August as we are going to see Cirque du Soleil's Kooza while it is in town -- since it got cancelled when it was supposed to be in the Twin Cities

| | | Oh yeah, about the jailbait picture. While I was working at VF, we had to explain what jailbait was to one of our foreign co-workers >^_^<
Comon, I was spending most of the day pushing down restraints with my face a few feet from scantily clad girls and women... will power at its finest x_X

| | It takes me around 4 hours to get to our cabin in the dells. From the twin cities here. so its not to bad. Look at the night ERT on the schedule though. Renegade and Excalibur. I would rather have Renegade and Excalibur in the morning and Renegade and Wild Thing at night.
All I know for right now is next year or 2010 Coaster Craze will be fun. |

| | | ^ Yeah. . . more like 2010 though, but still I think this year should be fun. Also don't forget in the morning we get Xtreme Swing ERT too with the half hour pre-park platinum thing.

| | | Thats not really ERT. non-club members get in for that and ACE, ERT rules do not apply. Which means you have to get out and walk around. |

| | | Okay, but we get ERT on Wild Thing and so do the pass holders so you're saying they're gonna check every person to see whether they're from CC or if they're a Platinum Pass holder? Ahh. . . No.

| | | Gale, that's why I loved being an attendant my one year at SFGADV as a 17yr old.
Thanks for reminding me of that Avalanche coaster. I better look up that coaster locator site if I plan to go to Wisconsin.

| | | But still Alan they aren't gonna check everyone to see if they're Coaster Craze people or Platinum Pass Holders, so who knows maybe they'll let everyone re-ride. I got a re-ride on Wild Thing 2 friday's ago.

| | | Matt, they wont... you get 1 re-ride. Its a new CF policy for the Plat Pass benefits. Coaster Craze people will have to follow the same rule. They wont have to check anything. We will have to follow the rule.
Anyways, back on topic please..
