7/16 Krazy City, Palisades Center Mall, NY

The Dark Knight IMAX showing in the Palisades Center Mall brought to it this past Wednesday. It's the huge mall closest to my cousins so besides waiting for the Myspace promotional screening of the movie I could also get my coaster credit. The Jeepers in the mall closed awhile ago. I was in that location but scoffed at wanting to ride the Python Pit at that time. Checking with my cousin that location was across from the 4th floor Dave and Busters. Now it is a Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant and a Lucky Strike Lanes bowling alley. The Python Pit relocated downstairs just near the Target to an indoor amusement center called Krazy City. I like this coaster in this new location. I lucked out in holding off for this ride because it now sits enclosed glassed in a dark room with blacklights and glowing props. I saw it operate when I arrived but I had to accumulate a couple kids and ask management to operate the ride again about 10 minutes later after I bought my admission card. I felt like I was on Skull Mountain @ SFGADV again on this coaster. It started to really chug and have some jerky pull by the time it got to the one downward helix after the first drop and towards a couple little hills in the last curve before returning to the station area. I had about 5 circuits on the cycle. I could touch the ceiling at the top of the lift. At the final circuit I thought the ride stopped when I touched the ceiling with my hands once again but it threw the train over the lift. I had a lot of fun and now I don't regret putting off this coaster since it's in the dark now and in a better setting. On the website it's called Haunted Coaster but there is a sign pointing to the ride entrance calling it Midnight Express. Afterwards I walked upstairs to wait in line for my movie.

The PTC carousel in the food court looks cool. I didn't see the ferris wheel operate. I bet James already got the coaster when it was Python Pit.

Glad you hit Krazy City. I hit it last year on a rainy day since Bowcraft was closed .

The Palisades Mall is easily my favorite mall thanks to all the attractions. Krazy City is just a nice little place.

I didn't encounter as much neon as I had in years past that made me bug out as a teenager.

I do indeed have the coaster from when it was in the Jeepers. Rode it back in 05.

I've been past the mall twice this year... On a trip going to Dorney.. And on a trip going to Gadv. Both times it was before the mall was open for day, had the mall been open I might have made a quick stop.

I pass that mall on the way to anywhere north of the city. Been to Krazy City last summer, but knowing that they have an IMAX may send me back that way.

I forgot to mention I had ERT on Bench the Ride outside the Target for at least 3-4 hours that I waited outside IMAX to get in for Batman.
