To answer your question, yes, they have used that part of the Steel Venom queue before. Once. The day it first opened.

Once again, you really missed out on some crazy good coastering.

On busy saturdays and school group days, we do fill quite a few of the queues. Usually its a station wait or walkway inbetween the queue and station.

Even so, it poured rain early in the morning, so it was already running like no other, then it got so ungodly hot, which just added to it.
That thing felt like Voyage, but rerideable.
