Farewell Pleasure Island

I can't even imagine to describe how bitter i am at Disney for shutting down PI. But i guess more shopping was needed .

Just wish they would have kept The Comedy Warehouse & The Adventures Club.

Anyway, Enjoy some of the last photos of PI from my last trip.

I IMHO believe Disney has gone off the deep end.

They don't understand how not to be completely filled with greed. $75 for a park admission is outrageous and frankly I'm not that sad that I haven't been back to any Disney park since the late 80s. They are totally forgetting the thrill seekers by only thinking about families. Yes they do have some thrill rides, but they are few and far between because oh no, we can't scare the kiddies!

Disney needs a balance, and part of that balance is offering something for every age group. Yes families should come first, but if you cut out the rest you're losing a huge demographic.

I'm weighing in the: Go to Disney to get my six missing credits in one day or make a return trip to BGA when I visit my brother this holiday weekend.
Disney's losing of their version of Universal CityWalk scene sounds like a bad idea. I always liked the non corporate individual clubs in Philly. Apparently the scene has been growing in Orlando. I've been reading about more of the downtown, adult options that Orlando has blossomed into offering.

Europa Park's coaster will be better than Maverick.
