| Cedar Point May 16th
Anything I should expect for lines? We're staying in the CP hotel overnight so we get in an hour early. We will probably hit TTD, then Maverick followed by MF. Any other suggestions?

TTD wasn't on the ERT list last year. Haven't heard about which rides are on it this year. Raptor and Millie are musts for the ERT - they will be essentially walk on early and will end up 45+ minute waits later. Maverick will have a long line unless you hit it at the very beginning of ERT. I'm intending to be on one of the first TTD trains of the year and will keep riding it until I get my first rollback.

I know I'm going for sure on Saturday the 16th and possibly on Friday the 15th. Obviously I'd expect lines to be shorter on Friday. When I went in August of 2001 most of the rides' lines shortened around 7 pm...then again MF had about a 4 or 5 hour wait...anyway would you expect it to be the same or any earlier than that? And what's the longest wait times throughout the whole day for each Maverick, MF and TTD? One more question, what should I expect for the queue length of flat rides like MaxAir and the Power Towers?

Park is closed on Friday the 15th. The 16th is the first operating day of the season. 4 or 5 hour wait for Millie was just because it was only a year old at the time. It usually doesn't run more than an hour throughout the day, the most I saw it last year was 2 hours on October 11th which was one of, if not the busiest day of the year last year. Dragster usually runs 1 to 2 hours but you can catch it at 30 minutes on occasion. Maverick last year was running about an hour to an hour and a half pretty steadily, except during the early part of the ERT and on really dead days like weekdays in May and early June. I personally never saw it less than an hour. Power Tower is almost always walk-on, MaXair can be anywhere from walk-on to 45 minutes, just depends on the time of day you walk past it. Wicked Twister's line is usually the same as MaXair's, sometimes it's walk-on and sometimes it's 45 minutes. If it's not walk-on, come back later and it probably walk on or maybe only a 1 or 2 cycle wait. This is the same for all flat rides - they just aren't that popular at CP. Many of the good coasters have walk-on or very short waits - Gemini and Magnum are almost always less than 10 minutes, though on October 11th I waited almost an hour for Gemini and Magnum was running a 1.5 hour wait. The park was ridiculous that day.

I think I went July 26th last year and there was like an hour wait for Gemini. It was PACKED that day. Oh, and hey violakat03 from TPOL!

This past Monday was PACKED. They decided to have Math & Science week this week rather than breaking up the days over several Fridays. As a result, the crowd was insane. And, ironically considering that GeminiRider was the last poster, I lost my phone on Gemini on Sunday. It was recovered majoritably in tact, just missing the battery cover. But I learned that there is no worse feeling than realizing that was your BlackBerry that just slid out of your pocket and made a frightening 'thunk' sound as it hit the side of the train... And I'm violakat03 everywhere. TPOL, KIC, BlockBrake, thispagecannotbedisplayed... see a violakat03, and it's me!
