Six Flags Saint Louis 6/6/09

I Spent the day at Six Flags Saturday and had a great time. I had to get in line to get my season pass processed and although the line was long I was impressed at how quickly they kept it moving. The park was clean and the employees were friendly. The only exception was the Panda Express restaurant. The employees were nice but there was not a single clean table in the place, the trash was overflowing, and there were many employees behind the counter that were not waiting on customers. The place needs alittle more work. In addition the food wasn't exceptional and cost $15 for just me. I was disappointed. At any rate, with that one exception it was great. Here are the rides I got to do:

-Tony Hawk's Big Spin - Loved it! Very cool coaster.
-The Boss - I had been waiting to ride this one. I wasn't disappointed, it was great.
-Screaming Eagle - I loved this ride. Its alittle rough but I loved it and the employees were great.
-River King Mine Train - I liked this ride alot, I'm thinking there were three lift hills plus that tunnel. I like the fact that is was the first coaster at the park.
-Ninja-I finally got to ride this one. It was a walkon and very thrilling.
-Batman-Can't visit the park without doing this classic. I was impressed at how fast the line moved.
-Mr.Freeze - I say this is the most intense ride on the park. I usually can just handle this once per trip.
-Evil Kneivel-I have to say this is my favorite coaster at the park. It may not be as big as the other woodies but I just like this one best.
-Scooby Doo Scary Swamp - Great fun and last a good long time. I love any dark ride.
-Thunder River-I think this is the most intense rampage I've been on. Not heavily themed but intense and it can hold twelve at a time. I think the others I've been on have only held eight or ten. Everyone gets wet on this baby!
-Train-I have a complaint about the train. The park isn't really big enough in my opinion to have two train stations and therefore two stops. It makes you wait twice in order to take one trip around the park. I say get rid of the station by Buggs Bunny National Park.
-Hurricane Harbor-It was alittle chilly so I just walked around. I did the lazy river which is a must for me and I really enjoyed it.

Again, I had a blast other than the food experience. Mr Freeze's paint job looked great. The park is clean but it would be so much more beautiful if they invested in landscaping around Mr Freeze and Thunder River. There are several "weedy" looking areas on various rides. Hopefully they will keep making money and fine tune things. I will definitley be back. I just won't eat Chinese lol.
