• Unitholders elect three new people to board of Cedar Fair

    It was announced today that Cedar Fair held an election to add three new people to its Board of Directors. The three were elected with a three year term on the board.

    Daniel Hanrahan, Lauri Shanahan and Debra Smithart-Olgesby all bring different areas of expertise to the table. These traits include marketing, travel and hospitality, multi-brand enterprises and corporate leadership.

      It sounds like a good move to get some fresh views on the board. My only concern is that none of the three new members have any real experience with the amusement industry. They need a coaster enthusiast or two on the board.
