• Ghost Town in the Sky partially reopens

    Closed for three years for financial reasons, Ghost Town in the Sky, in Maggie Valley, North Carolina has reopened, albeit only partially.

    Details are few at this point, but the chairlift was taking patrons to the top of the mountain again, and the park's owner is promising more rides will open next week.

      If the coaster reopens, you better run as fast as you can to get the credit.

      That is great news for the area. We went there a few years ago when they reopened to help support the park but it wasn't enough. Hopefully this time it will make it.
