DreamWorks to open indoor theme park

Dreamworks is entering the amusement park business giving Disney's Hollywood Studios and Universal Studios some competition.

DreamWorks is known for "Shrek", "Madagascar", "Kung Fu Panda" and other successful movies and is making plans to build an indoor Theme Park in the New Jersey Meadowlands, which will be apart of the American Dream project.

The American Dream project will consist of the theme park, an indoor ski slope, a water park aquarium and live theater. Chief executive of DreamWorks, Jeffrey Katzenberg says "The theme park will involve DreamWorks characters, storytelling and technology in an unique and innovative family entrainment experience."
