Riders stuck on Carowinds' Windseeker

Shortly after the park opened yesterday morning, Windseeker's safety security system was tripped which led to the ride coming to a stop at the top of the tower 300 feet in the air.

It took safety workers two and a half hours to get the stranded riders off of the ride. No injuries were reported.
