Busch Gardens Europe announced that they will be closing their antique car ride attraction to make room for a new ride.
Donnie Mills, executive vice president and general manager for Busch Gardens Europe and Water Country USA stated that, "After careful review, we have decided the Le Mans Raceway site is optimal for the park’s newest attraction."

A 12-year-old boy was pronounced dead after riding Rock-N-Roller Coaster with his father at Disney’s MGM studios Thursday.
The incident occurred around 11:30. The boy was given CPR and taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

FRANKENMUTH, MI – The Bavarian Festival looks pretty much like any other traveling amusement fair except for one small detail. There aren’t huge plumes of smoke belching out over the patrons.
Children ride the carousel, teens flock to the Gravitron and Zipper rides. The midway features your typical pretzels, funnel cakes and french fries.

Once again Lotte World in Seoul, South Korea is facing questions about the park’s safety. On Tuesday a ceiling tile on a building housing the indoor Fantasy Dream child’s coaster fell, striking a ten-year-old boy on the head. The boy suffered minor cuts and bruises from the tile; luckily nails embedded in the tile did not hit the boy. (more…)

After three years of fundraising and planning, the Hard Rock Park is ready to break ground July 13 at 10 a.m. at the 55 acre-site off US 501 in Fantasy Harbor. Construction will begin shortly after the ground breaking.
The $400 million park will be the largest tourism investment in South Carolina history and plans are to open in 2008. (more…)

The lawsuit states that the park failed to train its employees, provide adquate warnings and properly maintain its equipment.
On June 9, 2-year-old Kobe Carter fell roughly 30 feet from Over the Rainbow, a ride that swings like a pendulum in circles.

Tuscora Park, a small park near New Philadelphia, Ohio was the site of an accident involving two children being thrown from a Ferris wheel when the car they were riding in locked upside-down and the Ferris wheel continued to run.
The accident happened Sunday when a 4-year-old girl was thrown about 20 feet to the gravel below and a 7-year-old boy fell on top of the gondola below where he held on until he could be rescued.

From Motown medleys to honky-tonk, the sound of music from big-name entertainers will be heard at Busch Gardens Europe this summer. Admission to the concerts is free with park admission.
“Busch Gardens is pleased to announce the return of our concert series,” said Donnie Mills, executive vice president and general manager of Busch Gardens Europe and Water Country USA. “Offering concerts throughout our season is a way to add more value to a park visit for all of our guests,” Mills added.

With summer heating up, the music and special events at Paramount’s Kings Dominion are getting even hotter!
July 6-8 the park will host Kings Fest featuring some of the hottest Christian bands around. Newboys, Kutless, Casting Crowns, Toby Mac (formerly of dcTalk), the David Crowder Band, Jeremy Camp as well as Third day headline this three day event.

According to Disney chairman George Mitchell and the China Daily newspaper, The Chinese government and The Walt Disney Company are in talks to open a Disneyland theme park in Shanghai.
Mitchell was quoted as saying "We have an interest in proceeding and we hope that satisfactory terms can be worked out and we can proceed."
