A 20-year-old man was struck by the Ninja roller coaster at the Santa Clarita, California park after entering an area restricted to only authorized personnel.
Officials at the Six Flags Magic Mountain park have provided confirmation that a man was involved in an accident at the California park.

The Indiana park has announced plans for Pilgrims Plunge, billed as the world’s tallest water ride.
On August 26, 2008, Holiday World announced plans for a new water ride that just happens to be the world’s tallest. Pilgrims Plunge will lift boats full of riders using an open elevator system, and then will hold riders for a short moment. Soon after, the riders will plunge down 131 feet at a 45-degree angle at speeds of 50+ mph, and splash down making a wave of water 45 feet high and 90 feet wide that will drench passengers. (more…)

Ghost Town in the Sky, the beautiful Maggie Valley, NC park, located on top of a mountain is hoping for a September opening of their star attraction – Cliff Hanger.
The O.D. Hopkins Associates, Inc-designed coaster is one of the most unique in the world because it actually drops off the side of a mountain into a ravine.

Cedar Fair said the two bids it got for the land on which Geauga Lake sat were not high enough.
Cedar Fair Chief Executive Dick Kinzel said he thinks the land is worth more than what the two bids were.
The land is more than 500 acres. Cedar Fair closed Geauga Lake amusement park in 2006 and removed and auctioned off rides. It now only runs the water park Wildwater Kingdom on the site.
