Woman hurt in fall at Darien Lake

A woman was hurt when she fell about 10 feet from the station of MotoCoaster.

The woman got on the ride but then got off because she wasn’t feeling well, a park spokesman said. As she got off, she fell 10 feet.

Park employees took her to an area hospital to be evaluated.

Six Flags to sell beer

Six Flags Over Texas says it’s going ahead with plans to start selling alcohol.  

The park has applied for a liquor license, despite protests from residents and the city.

Amusement park officials say they are responding to visitors’ requests that beer and mixed drinks be available at the park.

Cedar Point to host Wheels of Thunder experience

Carowinds hints at snakes

Carowinds, much like Holiday World, is dropping hints of its plans for 2009.

 

Within the past few weeks a strange box appeared outside the park with script saying things like “Caution Live Animal” and “Live Reptiles."

Halloween, Disneyland Resort Paris style

New Sesame Street Attraction Opens Spring 2009

Hard Rock Park employees laid off

Hard Rock Park
laid off 25 to 30 employees this week, a spokesman said.

 

Full- and part-time employees were laid off, but spokesman Jim Olecki called it "minuscule." The park only hired 2,000 employees instead of a projected 3,000.
