Jack Sparrow actors at Disneyland fired

The four men who played pirate Jack Sparrow were fired because Disneyland officials were worried about female visitors flashing them, a former cast member said.

Former pirate Brandon Pinto said the young women would lose control when they saw Jack Sparrow.

Busch Gardens Europe announces Christmas Town

Hersheypark wins award at World Waterpark Association Symposium

Hershey, Pa – Hersheypark was honored as having the Best Employee Retention and Rewards Program in its attendance category at the 28th Annual World Waterpark Association (WWA) Symposium & Trade Show, which was held at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas in early November.

Corkscrew front car up for sale

Alton Towers is selling the front car of the now defunct Corkscrew roller coaster on eBay.  

Europe’s first douple-corkscrew coaster was demolished in November.

The coaster is believed to have carried an estimated 43 million people since its opening in 1980 at a cost of £1,250,000.
