The ride is over for Hard Rock Park.

After failing to find a buyer, park representatives asked a Delaware bankruptcy court Friday for permission to liquidate, indicating once and for all that the park will not reopen.

The park asked the court to convert its bankruptcy to Chapter 7 from Chapter 11 status.  Under Chapter 7, a trustee is appointed to sell off the property and assets to pay creditors.

In 2009, guests will have to pay more to get into the Florida theme park as it raise ticket prices in 2009.

Seaworld Orlando has announced that the company will increase the price of ticket. This price change will take effect on January 5, 2009. The increase of $5 will up the entry price to $74.95 for Adults. Youth tickets will also be raised $5 from $59.95 to $64.95.
