Cedar Point to fill 1000 positions

SANDUSKY, Ohio – Cedar Point will hold open interviews for more than 1,000 positions from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 28 at the park’s Breakers Express Hotel, 1201 Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky. Overall, Cedar Point will hire approximately 4,500 people for the summer. (more…)

Ghost Town files Chapter 11

As a direct result of the national credit crisis and economic decline, Ghost Town in the Sky announced yesterday that, in order to address the financial and operational challenges associated re-opening and running a theme park that sat dormant 5 years prior to the company purchasing Ghost Town in August of 2006, they have filed for bankruptcy protection and reorganization under Chapter 11 of the Federal Code on March 10, 2009.   (more…)

Carowinds and Kings Dominion offer discounted season passes

In response to the economy and its affect on patrons, both Carowinds and Kings Dominion are offering discounted season passes for $59.99. 

 
The new passes however do not include free parking and the other benefits of the VIP passes such as free admission to SCarowinds at Carowinds.

Hersheypark makes donation to Children’s Miracle Network

Each year Hersheypark hosts millions of visitors, many of whom take a moment to make a wish and drop a coin or two into one of the Park’s fountains.  Ultimately, those coins are collected and used to assist sick children and their families, who have plenty of wishes of their own. (more…)

GM ending sponsorship of Test Track
