- One prize per user.
- You may not use multiple user names to
enter. Doing so will disqualify you from all contests.
- You may submit one track per contest month.
- Winners will be asked for Phone and mailing
Address.
- You may not submit someone else's file.
You have to be the author of the file.
- Prizes will be award in a timely manor.
- Prize substitute: Six Flags Season passes are good at all
participating Six Flags World Wide (Learn
More). If there isn't a Six Flags in your area the grand monthly
prize will be a ThrillNetwork T-Shirt.
- International winners (outside of the US and Canada): The prize substitute may be
necessary due to the recent sale of Six Flags European parks. In addition, you may see delays
of your prize arrival due to shipping times as well as possible customs issues. We cannot
predict the delay, but we will try to ship your prize as quickly as possible.
How to Enter your Track:
1) Log into the site (from the main site at http://www.thrillnetwork.com
or SpeedZone, but
not the forums)
2) Go to SpeedZone at http://www.thrillnetwork.com/speedzone
3) Select the file you wish to upload and any pictures in the "Upload/Manage
Files" tool. Only the track file must be zipped. Also, be sure to
include as detailed of a description as possible.
4) When uploading your ride, be sure to check the box that says "Check
this box to submit for this month's NoLimits Contest".
5) When the above steps have been completed, click on the "Submit"
button. Your file should upload and your track will be submitted for the
month's contest.
6) If it fails, check your file sizes, whether or not they are correct
extensions, or if you are behind a firewall that may not be properly configured.
Those are all common reasons for upload failures.
The limit is one contest entry per month. First place winners become
ineligible once they win a prize (2004 winners may participate, however).
Complete Contest Rules
|
-Steel looping coaster type
-Must have only one lift hill
-G limits: -2 to +6 vertical G's; -2 to +2 lateral g's
-2 train minimum
-3 inversion minimum
-Must pass e-stop

Goal for design:
The aim of this month's contest is to create a portible coaster. This
means the ride must be compact and sit on a small amount of land so that
the ride can travel from carnival to carnival. Supports should be lots
of small beams. For a visual aid of what we are looking for, check out
Zonga or any other Schwarzkopf coaster. While there is no limit to the
amount of land you may use, it will be taken into consideration when judging
the rides.
