NEW YORK, New York, March 31, 2004- ThrillNetwork is proud to announce the first official NoLimits design contest and its consequent partnership with NoLimits Coaster Simulator. Beginning April 1st, NoLimits official design contests will be run through ThrillNetwork’s SpeedZone at http://www.thrillnetwork.com/speedzone/.

Starting April 1st and running each month thereafter, ThrillNetwork will hold a coaster design contest using the NoLimits software, the winner of which will receive a Six Flags season pass good at all Six Flags parks. All winners will have their coasters posted and featured on the official NoLimits Web site, located at http://www.nolimitscoaster.com/. Additionally, second and third place winners will receive a NoLimits ThrillNetwork T-shirt.

Numerous judges on and off ThrillNetwork’s staff will critique entries, and entries will have to meet a variety of requirements to be deemed eligible. Coasters will be judged on G forces (positive and negative, lateral and vertical), smoothness, creativity, realism, adequate support, correct train use, and various other standards that exist for real roller coasters. Ole Lange’s NoLimits currently features nine steel and four wooden coaster types. Released in 2001, it quickly became the number one coaster simulator by featuring lifelike graphics and user-defined flexible coaster designs. NoLimits is currently available for both PC and Mac OS X.
