The 2008 Golden Ticket Awards were announced today, with Cedar Point winning Best Amusement Park, Schlitterbahn winning Best Waterpark and Ravine Flyer II winning Best New Ride of 2008.

The Voyage claimed the top wooden coaster spot, and Superman Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England got Best Steel Coaster.

Holiday World was named the cleanest park and the park with the friendliest staff.

Dragon’s Revenge at Schlitterbahn won Best New Ride of 2008 at a waterpark.

This was the 11th year the Golden Ticket Awards were awarded.
