News: Ghost Town shoots down the competition at IAAPA

Via Press Release: Ghost Town in the Sky received top industry marketing awards last week in Orlando at the annual IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions) Convention and Trade Show.  Ghost Town competed against hundreds of theme parks, zoos, aquariums and family entertainment centers worldwide for the Brass Ring Awards that are judged by an International Marketing Executive Committee.    

Ghost Town received three first place marketing awards at IAAPA:  Best Collateral (Ghost Town’s annual 40-page Trip Planner), Best Website and Best Public Relations Campaign (Ghost Town’s Media Day held July 18).  Ghost Town also received a 2nd Place honor for Best Special Event Campaign, which was Ghost Town’s character series that featured Spider-man, Iron-man, the Incredible Hulk, Curious George, SpongeBob Squarepants and the Care Bears.  This past season, guests of Ghost Town could meet the famous cartoon and comic book characters at the park on designated days and also pay an additional $9.99 to have an exclusive luncheon with the featured characters.
