Mitch Hawker posted the results of his steel and wood coaster polls.
Superman: Ride of Steel at Six Flags New England topped the steel poll, and T Express at Everland in South Korea got No. 1 wooden coaster. Superman won last year’s poll and the 2006 poll. T Express opened in March.
Eagle’s Fortress, also at Everland, climbed one spot on the steel poll to No. 2. Expedition GeForce dropped to No. 3. It was No. 2 in 2006. Rounding out the top five are two Intamin Mega-Lites: Kawasemi at Tobu Zoo Park in Japan and Piraten at Djurs Sommerland in Denmark.
In the wooden poll, The Voyage was No. 2, falling a spot from last year. El Toro also dropped one to No. 3. Boulder Dash moved up from No. 6 to No. 4, and Balder rounded out the top five.
