On February 24, 2009, Ubisoft announced that it had acquired the official publishing rights for Six Flags Fun Park from its former publishing company, Brash Entertainment.
The video game allows users to enter a virtual theme park world filled with several attractions found at a Six Flags theme park. Challenges, quests, themed areas and over 40 mini-games and rides are among the features of this video game for the Wii console.
Six Flags Fun Park for the Wii console is schedueled to be released on March 10, 2009 at a Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $19.99. For a brief Special, each game will come with a free child’s admission ticket (valued at $29.99) to any Six Flags Theme Park.
Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft noted that "Ubisoft is excited to work with Six Flags on this fun new family game. [Consumers] can now enjoy a Six Flags experience in the comfort of their own homes."
