The Wallenda family will once again be featured at Kings Island on Saturday, August 15 when Nik Wallenda will perform a high wire walk as part of his 2009 Walk Across America tour, which is taking place at various Cedar Fair parks. Nik is a grandson of legendary high wire artist Karl Wallenda

Exact details of the walk are still unknown but the 2009 Walk Across America website promises the third high wire walk at Kings Island by the Wallenda family will be “more amazing than than the two before.”

In 1974, Karl Wallenda set a record for longest sky walk with a 1,800 foot walk at Kings Island, and last year, Karl’s grandson Rick surpassed it with a 2,000 foot walk along International Street.
