In March 2010 the old Miracle Strip Amusement Park will return to Panama City Beach, FL. It will come back to life in a much smaller location in the town’s Pier Park. In 2004 the original park in town shut its doors. The Starliner wooden rollercoaster was saved and relocated to the now closed Cypress Gardens park. The carousel of the old Miracle Strip park was purchased and installed in Pier Park over this past summer. A few remaining rides from the former park will join the carousel in the new location. Organizers hope to expand the offerings of the park once it opens and becomes established.

Hasn't anything been done to the old site? Why move to a site too small to later on bring the Starliner back?
I just don't think It will be the same.
