3 people were injured while riding the tram at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, Saturday night.
At 9:30 p.m., a tram was taking park guests to the parking lot and was hit by a swinging metal gate. A guest inadvertently pushed against the gate, according to Nancy Chan Communications Director at the park, and caused the accident.
Emergency services transported a 34-year-old man and a 2-year-old child to the hospital. An adult female was treated on site for minor injuries and was released, Chan said.
