Sunday, a 21-year-old woman fell to her death from the Xtreme roller coaster located at Dixie Landin’ in Baton Rouge, LA.
Sources state the woman fell from Xtreme, which is a Maurer Söhne spinning coaster, and died after being rushed to the hospital.
An investigation is under way to determine what caused the accident.

This ride has the surf curves too. It's the same layout of the two coasters at Waldameer and Seabreeze.
If you take a look at the layout of the ride, they couldn't have much else in that spot other than the surf curves. You have the final brake run right below the track, and the horseshoe curve right above the track. They could have put in a couple of bunny hops, but that's about it without changing a huge portion of the rest of the track.
I'd like to know more about this. I wonder if it was her fault, like that poor Tamara that I make fun of for dying on Raven.
I checked for an update earlier today and nothing has come out yet. I'm sure it will take a few weeks at most.
Was it at the 180 curve, that big u turn of an element?

So far the death is still a mystery.
Seems the restraints were working on the ride. I still wonder if the computer failed and let it go unlocked.
