News: The Party of the Year is Coming to Wet’n’Wild Water World, Austr

Kid’s New Year’s Eve at Wet’n’Wild Water World is Australia’s most splashtacular New Year celebration offering a host of entertainment, music and activities for the whole family.

And the best news is that the Kid’s New Year’s Eve festivities are all included in normal admission to the Park, which means that families can enjoy a full day at Wet’n’Wild Water World then stay for the party!

This year’s event will be themed around the Dive-in Movie, ‘Finding Nemo’, Disney’s computer-animated aquatic adventure about finding a very small fish in a very large ocean. Marlin is a more-than-slightly paranoid Clown Fish who is extremely devoted to his young son, Nemo. It’s not in Marlin’s nature to explore unfamiliar waters, but when he and Nemo are accidentally separated Marlin gathers his courage and sets out to find his son.

A tropical marine atmosphere will be the theme for the event with special Disney prizes and competitions all adding to the aquatic ambiance.

A special highlight of Kid’s New Year’s Eve is at 5:00pm when Wet’n’Wild Water World enters a Time Warp moving all clocks forward three hours especially for the kids.

Then at 9.00 pm AEST, the countdown will begin and a massive fireworks display will explode over Wet’n’Wild Water World to bring in the New Year.

9:00 pm AEST is midnight on the international date line which means Wet’n’Wild Water World will be the first in the world to celebrate the welcoming of 2004!

Warner Village Theme Parks Chief Operating Officer Steve Peet, said the Kid’s New Year’s Eve celebrations have become a tradition for thousands of local families.

“We feel it’s really important to give families the opportunity to see in the New Year together,” Mr Peet said.

“We are providing a safe, supervised environment, but most importantly, this is a celebration which is very affordable for families with all entertainment and activities included in the normal admission price.”
