The doors to the park were opened to allow local residents to preview some of the new attractions Geauga Lake is debuting this year. Visitors were allowed to meet with Snoopy and the rest of the Peanuts gang.

Additionally, the Americana Ferris Wheel and two gift shops were open. Ben & Jerry's gave out free ice cream. The new photos show the continuing construction of Wildwater Kingdom, the repainting of Thunderhawk, as well as other minor park improvements.

With only a week to go, Geauga Lake still has some work to do, but it was evident that even less of the Six Flags image existed. The photo update additionaly includes photos from around the park displaying the slide pieces for Liquid Lightning, Splash Landing and Thunder Falls, which are still situated in the South Parking Lot.
