By Matt M.

May. 2nd, 2005 -- Four people were hospitalized and 25 were injured after Bob Express malfunctioned. The four people were hospitalized with whiplash injuries or nosebleeds.

Bobbejaanland Manager Rudi Rasschaert said the train split apart, and the two parts "came back to the same area where they crashed," expatica.com reports.

The Red Cross gave aid to the riders, and most of them were treated at the park's first aid station.

Rasschaert said the accident's cause will be investigated and that it passed safety regulations.

The ride will reopen within 10 days.
