 Jun. 20th, 2005 -- ACE believes that Great America's Batman deserves the landmark award because it opened doors to more exciting rides after it was built in 1993. Bolliger & Mabillard have went on to make dozens of highly successful amd popular inverted coasters, including many rides using the same or mirrored layout as Batman the Ride.Twelve years later, Batman the Ride still proves to be one of the most popular rides at the Six Flags Great America theme park, even though it has been dwarfed in size and speed by many of the park's newer thrill rides.
