 Jun. 28th, 2005 -- If there was any doubt about the success of Hong Kong Disneyland, an online auction may have put the doubts to rest. Today Disney auctioned off a number of admission tickets for a special preview day on Sept. 4, eight days before the park opens to the public. The tickets were sold out within three hours. Although Disney did not say how many tickets were put up, the company stated that the rapid selling-out demonstrated the massive support Hong Kong Disneyland has from the community. All proceeds from the auction will go to Community Chest, a local charity group. See the Wichita Eagle for more. |
