News: Kingda Ka officially reopens

Aug. 5th, 2005 -- Kingda Ka officially reopened Thursday night at Six Flags Great Adventure. The world's tallest and fastest roller coaster had be closed for many weeks after an incident during a test run.

On June 8th, a bolt came loose on a plastic liner, which lead to the liner becoming loose and damaging multiple parts underneath the launch section of the track. Six Flags officials hope the re-opening of Kingda Ka will help boost attendance.
