Industry Announcements: Six Flags Great America offers pass to four fun destinations

By Aaron

Oct. 5th, 2005 -- Today Six Flags Great American offered a new pass that gives the holder free, unlimited access to Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor, the Brookfield Zoo, and the Shedd Aquarium, all for $99.99. There's a catch, however: A minimum of four of the passes, called Premium Season Passes, must be purchased at a time.

The pass is the result of a partnership between Six Flags, the Shedd Aquarium, and the Brookfield Zoo. The zoo offers almost 2,500 different animals, while the aquarium displays nearly 22,000 creatures and 1,500 individual species. People wishing to buy a Premium Season Pass must physically visit the park to purchase it.

The passes can only gain admittance to different destinations at different times of the year. A bearer can get into the amusement park during Fright Fest 2005 and all of the 2006 season, enter the waterpark during the 2006 season, and visit the aquarium and zoo from Nov. 1 of this year to May 31, 2006.
