Oct. 10th, 2005 -- PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. - Free concerts continue this weekend at Dollywood’s National Music & Harvest Celebration as Mountain Heart, Guy Clark, Jerry & Tammy Sullivan, The Anchormen, JD Crowe & the New South and Ricochet take the stage.

Mountain Heart performs two shows each on Oct. 14 & 15 at 3:45 and 6 p.m. in the Dollywood Festival Amphitheatre. This bluegrass band features Steve Gulley (guitar), Adam Steffey (mandolin), Jim Van Cleve (fiddle), Jason Moore (bass), Barry Abernathy (banjo) and Clay Jones (guitar). The group’s latest album is entitled Force of Nature and includes songs like “Soldier’s Prayer,” “Man in the Mirror” and Flatt & Scruggs’ “The Old Home Town.”

Legendary singer/songwriter Guy Clark takes the stage at DP’s Celebrity Theatre for two concerts on Oct. 14 & 15 at 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. This Texas troubadour is one of the most popular Americana artists today, known for writing and performing such classics as “Homegrown Tomatoes,” “Desperadoes Waiting for a Train” and other songs which tell the stories of American experiences.

Bluegrass gospel favorites Jerry & Tammy Sullivan perform two concerts on Oct. 14 at 3:30 & 5:30 p.m. and two shows on Oct. 15 at 2:30 & 4:30 p.m. in Dollywood’s Showstreet Palace Theatre. This father-daughter team performs frequently at bluegrass and folk festivals, but they remain true to their Pentecostal church roots. Jerry & Tammy have made frequent appearances on the Grand Ole Opry with collaborator Marty Stuart.

Featuring four-part harmony at its finest, The Anchormen perform Oct. 16 at 3:30 & 5:30 p.m. in Showstreet Palace Theatre. Their newest album Livin’ Our Dream includes favorites such as “Workin’ On A Building,” “That Heavenly Home,” “Plan of Salvation,” “Somebody Touched Me” and “Boundless Love.”

J.D. Crowe, 2004 International Bluegrass Music Association’s Banjo Player of the Year and 2003 Hall of Fame member, got his start as a teenager in Jimmy Martin’s Sunny Mountain Boys. His trailblazing band, the New South, features Dwight McCall (mandolin), Rickey Wasson (guitar), Ron Stewart (fiddle) and Harold Nixon (bass). The group performs Oct. 16 & 17 at 3:45 & 6 p.m. in the Festival Amphitheatre.

Five-member vocal group Ricochet, named Best New Vocal Group by both the Academy of Country Music and Billboard magazine, performs Oct. 16 & 17 at 2:30 & 4:30 p.m. in DP’s Celebrity Theatre. Fans know them for their hit singles “Daddy’s Money,” “What Do I Know,” “He Left A Lot To Be Desired,” “Seven Bridges Road” and more.
