News: SeaWorld Orlando adding kid-oriented rides for 2006By Aaron |
Oct. 14th, 2005 -- As most parks in Florida try to build the biggest and fastest, SeaWorld Orlando is going the other direction. The park's 2006 plans are geared at attracting children seven and younger and their families. Three kid-friendly rides will open at the park next year. SeaWorld plans to add a "teacup" ride (with buckets instead of teacups), a Shamu-themed small coaster, and a jellyfish-themed tower ride. The new attractions will be part of the Shamu's Happy Harbor play area. The park will also debut a new killer-whale show called Believe, the first change to the orca attraction in seven years. SeaWorld would not comment on the cost of the new attractions and did not announce if and how ticket prices would change. Visit Florida Today for more information. |
