 Oct. 14th, 2005 -- Get set for what Disney calls "the happiest race on Earth". Based on The Walt Disney
World Marathon, Disneyland will host a 13.1-mile half marathon next year. The race will start at California Adventure, winding through Disneyland and out to Angel Stadium before finishing up at the ESPN Zone in Downtown Disney. Everyone who finishes the race will receive a certificate and commemorative medal. Disney officials expect nearly 10,000 runners to show up.
