News: The Great Escape will charge for parking in 2006

Dec. 14th, 2005 -- Due to numerous improvements to the parking areas at The Great Escape, the theme park will charge for parking for the first time in 2006.

Parking will be $5 per car, frequent visitors can purchase a season parking pass for $15. The parking lot will be paved over the offseason and a foot bridge will be built to allow guests to cross Route 9 without dealing with traffic. The park says this justifies adding the parking fee.
