News: Special need? Prove itBy Chip |
Feb. 10th, 2004 -- After abuse of the "special assistance passes" guests with disabilities use to prevent standing in long lines, Disneyland has made it a little tougher to get them. Guests would claim they have bad backs or one person out of a group would rent a wheelchair to take advantage of the system. The abuse resulted in crowds of people waiting where only a few would normally be. Disney is now asking more questions to verify if a guest is eligible for the pass or not.
