By Aaron

Feb. 21st, 2006 -- In one of the most interesting job interview processes ever held by an amusement park, Legoland California is trying to find people to build new Lego models at the park and to maintain to existing 15,000 Lego constructions. Yesterday at Legoland, aspiring model builders created pirate-themed Lego projects in hopes of being selected as finalists for the position. Finalists from an additional six cities will meet at the park on May 23 for a last competition.

Applicants must be at least 18 year-old, be U.S. residents, and have at least a high school diploma or equivalent. They will have one hour to build a sample creation. Creativity will be the primary aspect that the models will be judged on.
