The decision to do only one operation came after the speedway demanded more from former park sales manager Sally Lou and her son, Justin Loh, who managed Williams Grove and currently manages the speedway.  After the recent closing of Silver Spring Speedway, more business was brought to Williams Grove Speedway, and with more to manage, Loh reported that it would be too difficult to keep both parks open.

The decision was made by Loh in February along with Morgan Hughes, who also owns Williams Grove Speedway.  It was noted that there are two ways the park could re-open:

• A professional management team with experience running a family-owned park was to take over operation.
• Someone pays park owner Morgan Hughes $6 million to purchase the operation and agree to continue running it as an old-fashioned amusement park.

The 200-acre park offered waterslides, go-carts, a nine-hole miniature golf course laser tag and paddle boats in addition to rides and picnic facilities for a $1 admission during the week and $2 on weekends.  Complete admission packages, including wristbands for rides, were also sold for $15 for adults and $12 for children.  The park would normally open in May.
