Jun. 5th, 2006 --
Bell's Amusement Park has reached an agreement with their neighbors in Tulsa, Okla. on plans to build a new roller coaster. The Twister-style wooden roller coaster will be built away from the neighborhood, but on existing park property. The park was approached by The Gravity Group to build the roller coaster away from the neighborhood, using a steel support structure. It would allow for a tighter fit. The ride will be a Twister-style ride with high-speed banked turns to complement Zingo, the park's current roller coaster, which features a traditional out-and-back layout. There is no timetable for the building of the new ride, but the park expects a major revenue boost once it is completed. For more information, see: Tulsa World. |
